Saikat Chakrabarti

Saikat Chakrabarti (born January 12, 1986) is an American political advisor, left-wing activist, and software engineer.

He is currently running for Congress in California's 11th congressional district in the 2026 election, mounting a primary challenge against former House speaker Nancy Pelosi.

He was formerly chief of staff to Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. In that position, he helped write and promote the Green New Deal.

He also served as the Director of Technology for Senator Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign.
